in the first leg we have Pinoy pride, as our theme and Tribal roots on the second,

and now on our 3rd leg our theme will be Biomechanical Tattoo/Fantasy Tattoo!!!

We are again calling all tattoo artists, collectors and enthusiasts to join this event!

Ready Made: ( open design)
a) Medium Piece Colored
b) Medium Piece Black and Gray
* not necessarily to be under Biomech/Fantasy theme. but ready made tattoo with biomech design is also welcome to join.

On the spot Tattoo: We are looking out for the best Best Biomech Tattoo/Fantasy Tattoo:
a) COLORED
B) Black and Gray

We are announcing additional new categories for the 1st leg of the Red Horse Tattoo Challenge 2010.

Please take note that this category is applicaple on this specified leg only.

The competition is now open to: Ready made

"Medium colored"--- size 5"x5" to 10"x10"
"Medium black and Grey"
* not necessary under "pinoy pride theme"


THIS IS ADDITIONAL CATEGORY, MEANING THE EARLIER ANNOUNCED CATEGORY IS STILL APPLICABLE.

For those who wish to register on the date of the competition, please come early. Program starts at 8:00pm. You are advised to be at the venue 2 hours before the program start.

1.Competition is open to all Filipino and Foreign Tattoo Artists/Collectors with or without affiliation to any tattoo organization.

2.We have to categories: a) ready-made tattoo b) on the spot tattoo which should comply with the theme assigned by the organizers.
Theme for each leg will be announced a week prior to the competition.


3.Mechanics:
A Collector can compete in any applicable category using different tattoo entries, but 1 tattoo entry can only compete in 1 category.

a.On the spot Category
•The tattoo design that will be applied by the Tattoo Artist shall be drawn during the event from a set of categories.
•The design categories shall not be announced or shall not be made known to participants until the draw.
•The Tattoo Artist shall make his own design and apply it on his/her model right after the category has been drawn.
•Tattoo should be finished on or before the set deadline.
•Tattoo Artists competing under this category are required to bring their own model, additional lighting, tattoo equipment, etc.
•All the materials that will be used under this category must be 100% disposable.
•Minimum size is 5”x5” or 25sq.inches and 3 hours maximum working hours.


b.Ready made category
•All tattoo entries under this category must be totally healed during the time of judging.
•The tattoo should not bear any scabs and flakes.
•It must comply with the theme assigned in each leg.

4.Registration fee
•P250.00 plus 10 crowns of Red Horse Beer


5.Prizes

Champion----P5,000.00 + Trophy + Gift Packs
1st Place: Trophy + Gift Packs + Certificates

To all Filipino tattoo artists, enthusiasts and collectors we are pleased to announce that officially, the RED HORSE Tattoo Challenge 2010 was launched.

We are inviting you to join and witness this event! As we gather tattoo artists all around Luzon to celebrate the art of tattoo, an eminent part of Filipino fashion, which traces back from our ancient history.

Mark these dates in your calendar, as we roam around different provinces!

We’ll have our KICK-OFF this coming June 19, 2010 at the Barrrakz Bar and Resto, 8:00 o’clock in the evening. This will be a night of celebration and party as we open this 7-leg competition! Guest artists/bands on the list are: DICE&K9, Jonan Aguilar w/ Anak Band, Sinag, Stick Figgas.
